HOPE – a poem

Do you sometimes
Have the feeling
That nobody understands you?
No matter what you say
No matter what you do
Everybody disagrees with you
They complain
They scream
They won't let you
Finish speaking.
And always
Insist on their views
And you
You are isolated in your own world
Want to express your feelings
But can't?
Because nobody understands you
And you haven't the freedom
To open your heart
And let everything out
What you're thinking
What you're feeling
Your thoughts
Your emotions
Your feelings
Everything?
But listen…
Some day
Everything will be fine
No matter what you do
No matter what you say
Nobody will disagree with you
Nobody'll complain
Nobody'll scream
You will be able
To finish speaking.
You will be able
To open your heart
And let everything out
What you're thinking
What you're feeling
Your thoughts
Your feelings
Your emotions
Everything.
